Children's Sunday Small Group (Bible Power Hour)
Top
The Children's Bible Power Sunday small group meets before the Sunday worship and starts at 9:00am. Children’s Bible Power Hour: (K-2nd – Led by Debbie Benson) 3rd-5th Led by Lisa Tomlinson). It includes fun Bible learning and activities. Lots of things will take place during this time on Sunday mornings beggining with POPS- we'll have a POP review of the previous week's lesson along with a POP breakfast(POP Tarts, Corn POPS, or Snap, Crackle, POP Rice Krispies). Please make sure your child is on time so they won't miss breakfast but more importantly so they get the review as our lessons build upon each other from week to week. It's important for them to remember all the characters and details. Character Corner- Another important reason for your child to be on time is that we chose one child each week to sit in the Character Corner to represent good character. Treasure Chest- Each child will look forward to seeing what prop is in the chest each week to help us learn our lesson. Top

C.L.A.S.S. (christian life and service seminars)

Willow Lake church would like to invite you to CLASS 101. You don’t have to become a member to attend it–it’s just for your information. In CLASS 101, we will explain what we believe, how we operate, and the history of our church.
God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to take time to dig into the Bible on a daily basis, or maybe God wants you to see what His Word has to say about why you exist. Willow Lake's CLASS system is all about those next steps.
Imagine a baseball diamond. At first base, our membership class, you’ll get the foundation of our CLASS series. Then head to second base, where you’ll find the tools to develop a closer relationship with God. Then third base, you’ll begin to see how God specifically SHAPE’d you for ministry (Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experience). As you head for home plate, CLASS 401, will help you discover your life’s mission of sharing God with the world. Top
Deacons
A deacon is one of two new testament offices, the other being the Pastor. Deacon means "one who serves". Deacons are to: serve the pastor in and advisory capacity; make recommendations to the pastor, and function as a spiritual servant in the local church. Top

We would like to personally invite you to become a part of the Women's Ministry here at Willow Lake church as we fellowship and serve together in faith, love, and unity. Our mission is to be women who are committed to a deepening relationship with Christ through diligent prayer, the study of the scriptures, and fellowship with our sister's in Christ. As a result, we pray to be spiritually mature women, confident in our gifts and courageous in our words, so we can reach out in love to impact our church and community for Christ. There are numerous opportunities available to get involved. Through in-depth Bible studies, heartwarming fellowships and special events offered throughout the year, you will have meaningful and fulfilling opportunities to enrich your heart, encourage your spirit, and expand your ministry. If we can be of any service or encouragement to you, please contact Jan Fox. She will be happy to assist you. Top
Ushers
Just as the Levites prepared the Temple for worship and teaching in ancient Israel, so the Usher Team functions in our sanctuary. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for the body on Sundays and during other corporate gatherings.
It is our responsibility to...
prepare the sanctuary for worship and teaching.
make visitors and members feel welcome.
collect and count the offerings.
create an atmosphere of acceptance and love for all attendees.
Ushers serve as the “doorkeepers” of the church. These men serve as the hosts of the church and ensure attendees feel welcome, cared for, taken care of and appreciated. Ushers accomplish this by extending a friendly and warm greeting to all, help people find a seat in the worship service, ensure visitors receive a welcome packet, answer questions and provide direction concerning the ministry and receive/secure the weekly offering. This is an excellent ministry opportunity for a man, who is committed to following Jesus Christ and has a servant’s heart, to get involved. Top
